SPRINT 3

Wow wee, what a mouthful. I really wanted to have and raw and authentic reflection. There are two really important challenges in my thinking of improvement of practice connected to positive educational outcomes. 

1 - What do we need to do to improve positive outcomes for vulnerable students in New Zealand Schools? The links to literature that I have read through and investigating are linked to Whole Child approaches. In particular I am quite interested in the Tacoma Whole Child Initiative.

2 - What is the future role of teachers in the classroom and do children require a teacher? The links to research that interest me in this area was Sugata Mithras 'hole in the wall' and 'school in the cloud' philosophy's.
